History

MyGARD is a young company. Set up in 2000 the team has
worked very hard to develop products and services to change
the security industry.

MyGARD was the first to develop monitoring software for use
by its customers. More recently, it has increased monitoring
functionality for the customer, whilst reducing the cost dramatically.

Next the team at MyGARD developed a revolutionary product
to help everyone be more secure for less. The product learns
alarm sounds and then recognizes an alarm it has learned
when it goes off. Now every day bell-only alarms, such as
existing burglar alarms and smoke detectors can be transformed
into intelligent monitored systems easily and cheaply.

MyGARD is determined to help everyday people to improve their security. Using proprietary technology MyGARD can transform existing systems into intelligent, monitored systems.

Traditionally the security industry charges significant amounts to a relatively small number of people. MyGARD passionately believes that better security should be simple to understand, access and easily available.

To deliver this MyGARD avoids jargon and gives the customer total control over security; keeps costs low and concentrates on using intelligent solutions to improve current systems NOT replacing them with expensive new systems and working in partnership with people who know the customer well.
