How does MyGARD Monitoring work?

When your alarm is activated MyGARD will call the
premises to check for false alarms. If the alarm is not
cancelled or the person who answers doesn't give the
right PIN we carry out your instructions - MyGARD will
make phone calls, send text messages and e-mails to a
maximum of 6 contact people.

You can appoint keyholders who can respond to the alarm
activation or inform only contacts who do not have access
to your property; you can choose the times when you do
not want your contact people to be disturbed - nights
(22.00pm - 7.00am) or weekends.

If you register for G4S Security Services (UK) Patrol & Response
service you can choose whether your contact person can authorise
the G4S Security Services (UK) patrol to check your property.

Using the MyGARD Monitoring online account

The MyGARD online account allows you to look after your
alarm from anywhere in the world. You can view and amend all information about your contacts and alarm instructions as well as check whether any alarms have been received and
what actions have been taken.

What do I get if I register for G4S Security Services (UK) Patrol & Response service?

Registration provides the opportunity to call out a patrolman who will check and if necessary secure your property. You will find this service is useful when none of your contact people can attend your alarm activation or if you prefer a professional to manage a potentially dangerous situation. When dealing with crime the patrolman will call the police and arrange to secure your property.

MyGARD allows you to authorise G4S Security Services (UK) in a flexible way to minimise unnecessary costs. You can choose when and who can authorise the patrol or arrange for a patrol to visit your property when none of your contact people can be reached.

G4S Security Services (UK) Patrol & Response availability and costs.

This service is available nationally in the UK.

If a G4S Security Services (UK) Patrol is called out you will incur the charges of £45.00 (incl.VAT) for the first 60 minutes from the time when the patrol sets off for your premises and £11.25 (incl.VAT) for every additional 15 minutes until G4S Security Services (UK) leave your premises.

How do I set up MyGARD Monitoring?

Once you have purchased MyGARD Monitoring services we will send you your monitoring account details by e-mail or post.

MyGARD Monitoring is simple to set up, all you need to do is program your alarm system (we will supply you with an easy to follow guide for Friedland SA5 or the AlertGARD) and set up your monitoring instructions by logging into your account at www.mygard.com using your account number, PIN and memorable word you have submitted at registration.
